Rubicon: AMC’s New Show

SAN FRANCISCO (GaeaTimes.com)- The latest show on offer from AMC is the mystery drama Rubicon. The show which is set to Premiere on August 1 was introduced in a pilot episode after Sunday’s ‘Breaking Bad’. The plot of the new series revolves around the intelligence analyst Will Travers who finds himself in the middle of a conspiracy in which his own agency is involved. The national think tank for which he works turns out to be a part of a secret society that manipulates events of global importance.
The series has generated a lot of curiosity among fans who are scrambling for footage and videos of the show on the web. After the success of ‘Breaking Bad’ and ‘Mad Men’, Rubicon has been AMC’s big hope. Another upcoming series that has received rave responses and is by far the most anticipated show on AMC is ‘Walking Dead’. Released clips from the to-be launched show revealed the gruesome looking zombies. This will be the first time that zombies will feature on the small screen. The pilot episode of Rubicon that was aired was called ‘Gone in the Teeth’ has received rave responses from the audience.
Rubicon has been slated for 13 one-hour weekly episodes at the moment. The story will begin with a shocking murder that Will Travers will begin to solve. The trailer released on the web shows the puzzles and secrets that are unlocked in the process of investigation. The official website which maintained the suspense by saying that all conspiracies are not theories, has also revealed that the show will appeal to everyone who has skepticism about the relation that big businesses share with the government.
