Hilary Duff buys $3.85 mn mansion

LONDON - American singer-actress Hilary Duff has splashed $3.85 million to buy a new house ahead of her marriage to hockey star Mike Comrie.
The “Stranger” singer, who shot to fame as a child in the Disney show “Lizzie McGuire”, has got a mansion at Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, one of the most posh residential area of the US, reports dailymail.co.uk.
The couple’s new home comes with some very showbiz neighbours. Pop singer Britney Spears lives on one side while actress Gwen Stefani and musician Gavin Rossdale are just down the road.
The 5,260 square-foot property boasts of five bedrooms, six bathrooms and a pool and is loaded with most sophisticated amenities.
The couple started dating in early 2008 and are planning to have a small traditional wedding later this year after Comrie proposed her while on a holiday in Hawaaii.
