Dimple Kapadia Is Now 53!

MUMBAI, INDIA (GaeaTimes.com)- Today is the birthday of talented Bollywood actress Dimple Kapadia. She turns 53 today though it is impossible to guess her age when one looks at her! She is one of those actresses who know how to age gracefully and still exude an aura. The actress scorched the silver screen way back in 1971 in ‘Bobby’. She was the discovery of veteran film maker Raj Kapoor. Post marriage and motherhood she took a sabbatical only to make a successful comeback in the 1980s. Since then she has acted in a number of films in Bollywood and won rave reviews from critics and viewers alike over the years.

It is quite amazing to think that Dimple Kapadia who looks as graceful as she did a decade back is actually a grandmother. She has acted in several critically acclaimed movies including the 2001 blockbuster ‘Dil Chahta hai’ where she was paired opposite much younger Akshay Khanna. She was seen on the big screen in 2008 for the last time in ‘Luck By Chance’. As of now she is busy doing her film assignments. In November this year she will be seen ‘Patiala House’, a film by director Nikhil Advani. Reportedly, she is also acting in a Malayalam flick. She has acted in regional films in her carer earlier too.

Dimple Kapadia who is turning yet another year old will be celebrating her birthday today. She has always been choosy about her films and the trend continues today. The film fraternity has wished her a very happy birthday and wishes her success in her career.
