SANDRA BULLOCK was puckering up for a kiss with SCARLETT JOHANSSON long before they locked lips at the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday night (06Jun10) - the stage smooch was reportedly her idea.

Bullock and Johansson stole the show when the blonde beauty planted a kiss on The Blind Side star after helping to introduce her to the stage to accept the MTV Generation Award.

But new reports suggest the shocking lip-lock was actually planned well in advance - with Bullock giving Johansson a pep talk beforehand to prepare her for the embrace.

A source tell the New York Daily News, “Scarlett was originally supposed to present a different award with Zac Efron, but when Sandy heard Scarlett would be there, she reached out to her. It was a pre-planned, scripted kiss the producers knew about - and it was Sandra’s camp’s idea.”

The MTV lip-lock wasn’t the first same-sex smooch for Bullock - she also hit headlines when she planted a kiss on Meryl Streep at the Critics Choice Movie Awards in January (10).
