Zach Braff to star in off-Broadway comedy ‘Trust’

NEW YORK — Zach Braff will return to the stage this summer in the off-Broadway comedy “Trust,” a new play by Paul Weitz that explores the corrosive effect of power in relationships.

Previews begin July 23 at the Second Stage Theatre. “Trust” will open Aug. 12 and run through Sept. 5.

The cast also includes Bobby Cannavale, Sutton Foster and Ari Graynor.

Braff’s stage experience includes roles in Public Theater productions of “Twelfth Night” and “Macbeth.” He also starred in the comedy series “Scrubs.”

Cannavale’s credits include NBC’s “Third Watch” and the upcoming film “Weakness.”

Foster starred in Broadway’s “Shrek.” Graynor is a Second Stage Theatre veteran.
