Hucknall Weds In Secret Ceremony

SIMPLY RED star MICK HUCKNALL has married his long-term partner in an intimate ceremony in Scotland.

The singer wore a kilt to wed Gabrielle Wilke-Wesberry in a 16th-century castle in Glenisla, Perthshire on Tuesday (25May10), inviting just eight friends and family members to attend.

And the star was delighted with his stay in Forter Castle, writing in the venue’s guest book, “Thank you for a wonderful experience on our most special of days. May the ‘keep’ stand for another 1,000 years.”

The newlyweds, who have a two-year-old daughter named Romy True, dated in 1995 but went their separate ways before rekindling their romance in 2004.

Hucknall, who is due to join The Faces when the band reforms later this year (10), has previously been linked to actresses Catherine Zeta-Jones and Martine McCutcheon as well as supermodel Helena Christensen.
