‘Kites’ Reviews Are Out Now

MUMBAI, INDIA (GaeaTimes.com)- After much anticipation, the much awaited Hrithik Roshan-Barbara Mori starer ‘Kites‘ is getting released today in India and also in other countries. The Bollywood heart-throb who makes millions of fans go weak in their knees with his irresistible smile and Greek god physique is back on the silver screen after a very long hiatus and that has made the fans even more excited. The movie has got mixed reviews from the critics but that is not going to affect its box office fate much, as it seems from the initial euphoria surrounding the release of the movie. The movie has a different storyline for sure and director Anurag Basu has presented a curious blend of Bollywood romance and Western crime caper in a single package.

The Protagonist played by Hrithik Roshan and Mexican actress Barbara Mori do not resemble typical Bollywood actors in the way their characters have been framed. In ‘Kites‘ you get to see Hrithik Roshan playing the hero but he is not at all an embodiment of virtue. He sweeps Kangana Ranaut off her feet with his charm and suave charisma because he has set his eyes on her fortune and not on her! When he falls for Barbara Mori, the twist in the plot appears.

‘Kites‘ has its strengths in bits and parts but it may not appeal to everyone. The Hrithik Roshan fans are sure to go gaga over his body and dance moves and those marvelous blue eyes. The sound track though is not that appealing and Rajesh Roshan has given the industry better tracks in his career.
