Mumbai (GaeaTimes.com) Kites will be released tomorrow, May 21 2010 in India but it has already released in U.S. and here is the review of the movie you are waiting for. The first reviews of the movie point out that it is a tragic love story with roots in classic Bollywood style film making. The romantic melodrama is the widest U.S. release till date hitting 215 stateside screens whereas normally a Bollywood movie is released in 50-60 screens. The film reminds of the old style Hollywood romances in modern dress and in the modern situation.

The story of the film revolves around the life of J (Hrithik Roshan) who is a salsa dance teacher at Las Vegas. He has a side business of marrying illegal immigrants so that they can get green cards. Gina (Kangana Ranaut) is a Casino heiress. While having dance lessons from J, Gina falls in love with him. Tony (Nicholas Brown) is the brother of Gina who is getting married to Linda (Barbara Mori). Linda and J spend a romantic night together and they fall in love with each other. Tony reaches his home and gets shocked and angry after J and Linda together. J takes Linda with him and runs away. Homicidal Tony pursues them across the Southwest and the lovers try to hide in Mexico.

The camera work for the film is brilliant and feels like one of the Hollywood movies. The car chasing scenes are shot with excellence and the pace of the film feels just right. The story does not feel dragged for a moment. Hrithik acted very well in the film and every other cast just felt right for the role chosen.

garbage movie. whats so great about this barbara mori. she is ugly. there are much better looking indian actresses out there. but as usual we are obsessed with foreigners. typical indian mentality. we are obsessed with these stupid idiots who would strip and do anything for money. Especially Hrithik roshan - His mouth would water when he starts to talk about Mori. Like she is God or something. Such an idiot. Guys like him are meant to live as foreign womens slave. Looser no matter how much money he has. Also this was a terrible movie. no good story line.
