Vaishali Desai Leaves “Shaunya”

MUMBAI, INDIA (GaeaTimes.com)- After being accused of rape charges, Shiney Ahuja gave a positive hint to make a comeback in the Bollywood film industry. What seems negative here is that not many heroines are actually ready to work with him on the same project. The latest in the case is Vaishali Desai who have recently walked out of the sets of “Shaunya” refusing to work with Shiney Ahuja. Inspite of the fact that the filmmakers have urged her to come back and finish the shoot, Vaishali Desai is sticking to her own decision. Vaishali Desai had even told the media that she is not working with Shiney Ahuja in the same movie at any cost.

Reportedly, Shaunya is said to be a comeback movie for Shiney Ahuja. The reason why Vaishali Desai has refused to work with the star is not clear but its speculated that Shiney Ahuja’s bad times haven’t left the actor yet. Vaishali Desai and Adhyan Suman were the first choice for the producers of the movie but they finally settled on Shiney Ahuja.

The director was of the opinion that both Shiney Ahuja and Vaishali Desai would make a good pair on the screen. When asked about her decision to leave the film, Vaishali Desai told the media that she is well aware of the fact that there has been many speculations about her leaving the movie where she was playing the lead role. Vaishali Desai said that the reason to leave “Shaunya” is personal and she doesn’t want to make any further comment on that.

Shaunya happens to be a horror movie which is being produced by Pooja Bedi. After Vaishali Desai left the movie where she was playing the protagonist, the producers have approached Sayali Bhagat for the role.
