LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- Tom Selleck returned with the sixth installation of the popular television movie series, based on Jesse Stone, the character created by Robert B. Parker. The latest film entitles ‘Jesse Stone: No Remorse,’ is being hailed as somewhat of a tribute to the author, who passed away in 2009. However, he was able to see the entire film after it got completed, and as per the reports of Tom Selleck himself, gave his blessings to the film, just as he had done to the other films adapted from his novels. He passed away of a heart attack. The film was aired on CBS on May 9, Sunday.

The film ‘Jesse Stone: No Remorse’ features Tom Selleck in the role of the eponymous police officer of the Police Department of Paradise City, in Massachusetts. The other actors to have been cast in the film in various roles are Kohl Sudduth, Saul Rubinek, William Sadler and Stephen McHattie among others. Right in the beginning of the film, the audience comes to know that Jesse Stone has been suspended from the Department, and forbidden to stay in touch with any of the others in his department, which makes his task of finding put the mystery murderer of the convenience store increasingly difficult.

However, things get even trickier when he is assigned in Boston as a civilian help, and realizes that the two mysteries are connected. Besides the mystery, ‘Jesse Stone: No Remorse’ also deals with some personal aspects of the life of Jesse Stone, for example, the difficulties that he has to face while using a cellphone, and the fact of his divorce from his wife.
