Greg Giraldo In “The Marriage Ref”

LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- Greg Giraldo, the judge in the “100 Greatest Stand-Ups Of All Time”, came over as the celebrity judge in the popular shoe “The Marriage Ref” on Thursday. He joined the panel of the regular judges on the show, Tom Papa and Jerry Seinfeld. The other celebrity judge in the show, along with Greg Giraldo, was actress Gwyneth Paltrow, who appeared on the show in order to promote the latest film that she is starring in, “Iron Man 2.” Greg Giraldo’s presence in the show became one of the high points in the episode, with the comedian cracking jokes in his trademark insulting fashion that has made him so popular. The principal object for his raillery seemed to be Gwyneth Paltrow, and he kept cracking jokes at her expense.
Greg Giraldo’s comments on the problems posed by the couples who appeared in this particular episode of the series did not accord much with the other judges in the show. One of the couples posed a unique problem. Living in a beach house in Miami for the three years since they have been married, the husband wished his wife to strut her gorgeous stuff in a bikini, while the wife, very obviously, refused to do so. However, while all the other judges sided with the wife, Greg Giraldo took the side of the husband.
Another time, when a wife complained that her husband called her up every five minutes, and the problem arose from her not receiving the calls every time, Greg Giraldo commented, in his usual funny fashion, that it seemed all right to him. However, whether he helped the couples in his stint as the judge or not, he did definitely get to be the soul of the show with his antics.
