Vedam Audio to be Launched on May 12

May 05, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): The audio of ‘Vedam’ directed by Jagarlamudi Radhakrishna @ Krish of Gamyam-fame and produced by Devineni Prasad and Yarlagadda Sobha on the banner of Arka Media Works, is all set for launch on May 12. MM Keeravani scored tunes for the flick. The multi-starrer features Allu Arjun, Manchu Manojkumar and Anushka in the lead and Manoj Bajpai playing another key role.
Speaking on the occasion, Allu Arjun says, "Several people raised doubts, why I came a step downward in doing a small budget film. But it is not the real case. We all are trying to take the Telugu cinema a step ahead in our endeavour. I am playing the role of Cable Seenu. I am very happy when my father remarked, ‘So far you played hero in eight films and I could see only a hero in you. But in ‘Vedam’, I saw an artiste in you,’ after watching the film. Keeravani could give melodious tunes to any kind of song.’ Manchu Manoj says, ‘Without Krish, there is nothing in this film. I feel very lucky for bagging the role of ‘Rock Star Vijay Chakravarthi’ in this film. We worked for about one year for this film. I am sure that the result would be positive."
Keeravani says, "So far I scored music for about 200 films. But working for ‘Vedam’ is something immemorable. I feel proud to claim that I scored music for this kind of film. As we loved all the tunes and songs, we, ourselves, took the audio rights of the film and are releasing the audio through Vel Records.’ Krish says, ‘I am just a conductor of this bus. The driver of the bus called ‘Vedam’ is none other then Keeravani. ‘Vedam’ is the answer to some of the questions I posed on myself. We are making efforts to release the film on May 20."
