An alleged member of the Hollywood Burglar Bunch which targeted the homes of ORLANDO BLOOM and PARIS HILTON has accused authorities of using the information he supplied them with to prosecute him.

Nicholas Prugo, 18, was one of five people - three of whom are teenagers - who were arrested last year (09) and charged with felony first-degree residential burglary over break-ins at homes belonging to Bloom, Hilton, Lindsay Lohan and Rachel Bilson.

Prugo is alleged to have stolen designer clothing, jewellery and cash from the stars’ homes.

He is said to have agreed to help police and prosecutors investigating the gang’s alleged crimes, and claims in new legal documents that he believed he was being protected by an “implied contract” with officials.

But Prugo insists prosecutors have “chosen to exploit” his cooperation - and now accuses them of taking advantage of the information he gave to file additional charges against him, instead of offering him a plea bargain.

Prugo has pleaded not guilty to charges of felony burglary and receiving stolen property.
