LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- The latest episode of the “American Idol” featured as guest artists not someone whom everyone is acquainted with, nor someone who had once been a part of the “American Idol” franchise, either as a judge or a contestant. Instead, they invited to perform the little known band, Sons Of Sylvia, who, till a few years back, were known as the Clark Brothers, going by their original names and relationships. For the three members of the band are brothers, and go by the names of Adam Clark, Ashley Clark and Austin Clark. However, even this time they have stuck to reality while renaming themselves: their mother is called Sylvia.

The Sons of Sylvia performed to their latest single ‘Love Left To Lose’ in “American Idol,” a number that has been climbing the billboard charts ever since it was released. Before their performance, they were introduced by Carrie Underwood, former “American Idol” winner and long time friend of the Sons of Sylvia, who were the backup band for her tour after she became the “American Idol” in season 4, and now are the opening act for her latest tour. The performance of the Sons of Sylvia was electric, and specially enjoyable for the wonderful mix of country and radio rock instruments.

The three members of the Sons of Sylvia too were elated to be a part of the famed reality show. They admitted that although they had never taken part in the show as a contestant, they had always been ardent followers, and that being a part is like living a dream. They also have some connection with the franchise, being the winner of the “Next Great American Band”, a spinoff of “American Idol.”
