Dance India Dance Won By Shakti Mohan

MUMBAI, INDIA (GaeaTimes.com)- Shakti Mohan has emerged as the winner in ‘Dance India Dance’, which is a popular dance reality show of Zee TV. She had to go through tough competition before the much coveted crown came to her. The grand finale of the show took place on Friday. She had contenders like Dharmesh Yelande, Binny Sharma and Punit Pathak but managed to beat them all in the end. Dharmesh Yelande bagged the second spot and Punit Pathak came a close third. She was visibly elated at the win and expressed her thanks to her teacher.

Shakti Mohan said to the reporters after winning the ‘Dance India Dance’ reality show that she owes the success to Terence Lewis. She also added that in future she will seek his advice for career moves. She is obviously enjoying her rise from anonymity to stardom. The girl also said that dance is more than passion for her. She likes contemporary dancing but also has liking for hip hop and classical dance genres. As a dancer, she wants to achieve versatility. The 24 year old dancer received this ward from veteran dance guru Pt. Birju Maharaj. The girl is lucky as she also got a spanking Wagon R car and an INR 5000000 contract.

Winning the title of ‘Dance India Dance’ is going to open various career avenues for dancer Shakti Mohan. The event was attended by Remo D’Souza, Terrence Lewis, Mithun Chakraborty. Choreographer turned director Farah Khan was also present at the award ceremony. She said that she will give the dancer a chance to work in the promo video of her upcoming movie ‘Tees Maar Khan’.
