“Paathshaala” Movie: Shahid Kapoor Promotes

NEW DELHI , INDIA (GaeaTimes.com)- Bollywood heartthrob Shahid Kapoor’s latest movie “Paathsaala” released last Friday. Although since its release, “Paathsaala” has not been able to receive widespread appreciation from the critics as well as the audiences, the makers of the flick have kept no stones unturned to promote the movie. In a bid to gather attention towards his latest venture, Shahid Kapoor also visited his alma mater in New Delhi just few days prior to the release of the movie.
To the utter delight of the students, the 29 year old actor visited the Gyan Bharati School in New Delhi, where he is known to have spent the early years of his student life. The students of his alma mater welcomed Shahid Kapoor with open arms as the young kids could not stop screaming in excitement at the opportunity to see as well as interact with their favorite star from such close quarters. The actor who arrived at the New Delhi school in a bid to promote his movie “Paathsaala,” looked visibly delighted to be back at his old school amidst the students as well as his old teachers. A special program was also organized in the honor of the actor, who was left overwhelmed with the kind of response that he received in his alma mater.
Meanwhile, the movie “Paathsaala” which hit theaters this Friday has not received kind reviews from many critics. The movie, which deals with the sensitive topic of commercialization of the educational institutions, had generated extensive hype among the audiences. However, many feel its to early to pass a verdict on the movie as the box office might pick up in the upcoming days.
