TIRUMALA, INDIA (GaeaTimes.com)- Much acclaimed actress Rambha tied the knot with a Canada based businessman in a lavish ceremony on Thursday. According to reports, the extravagant marriage ceremony was attended by as many as 500 guest who had arrived in Tirumala a day prior to the wedding to give their best wishes to the newly wedded couple.

It has been revealed that after the ceremony, which lasted for about two hours, the couple offered prayers at the Tirupati temple and later left for Chennai. The 33 year old actress was dressed in a traditional saree and jewelry during the marriage ceremony which made her look extremely beautiful. However, Rambha’s marriage is said to have been a private affair as it was attended only by family members and close relatives of the couple. Reports have revealed that a wedding reception is likely to be held on April 11 in Chennai which is expected to turn into a star studded affair as large number of celebrities would be gracing the occasion. At the same time, it has also been stated that just the day after the reception, Rambha and her NRI businessman husband would be visiting New Zealand for their honeymoon.

Meanwhile, there is good news for all the fans of Rambha, who are concerned that the actress might leave her acting career post her marriage as she has reportedly made it clear that she wants to continue acting even after her marriage. However, it has been reiterated that she would choose to be part of only few selective roles for now on.
