AP Sources: Two Woods interviews to air Sunday
NEW YORK — Two people familiar with Tiger Woods’ plans tell The Associated Press that the golfer has done two interviews set to air Sunday night.
The Golf Channel and ESPN plan to air separate interviews with Woods at the same time Sunday night. The two people requested anonymity because details of the interview were supposed to remain confidential.
The Golf Channel will broadcast an interview conducted by Kelly Tilghman, who is close with Woods and has served as the emcee for some of his clinics.
Golf reporter Tom Rinaldi interviewed Woods for ESPN.
Next month, Woods will end more than four months of seclusion and play the Masters, shielded by the most secure environment in golf as he competes for the first time since a sex scandal shattered his image.
