LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- Sketch comedy show “Saturday Night Live” has been known for its high entertainment quotient. This fact was proved once again during last night’s episode when actor Zach Galifianakis assumed the hosting duties in the show along with musical guests Vampire Weekend.
The ‘Hangover’ actor grabbed immense attention during last night’s episode with his terrific monologue which was highly enjoyed by all his fans. Now, if that was not enough to hook the attention of the viewers, the much loved comedy artist got behind the piano and delivered his trademark one-liners which kept the viewers asking for more. Although at the beginning of the program, Zach Galifianakis appeared with his signature beard, while the Vampire Weekend were showcasing their second performance of the night the actor went on to shave his beard backstage and performed the following skit clean shaven. However, the fun part of the show did not just end here as while the program was about to reach his conclusion, Zach Galifianakis reappeared in the show fully bearded, that left the viewers rather confused. However, later a representative of the actor validated that Zach Galifianakis had indeed shaved off his beard and appeared at the end, with a fake beard.
Overall, the latest episode of “Saturday Night Live” was surely successful in entertaining the viewers to the fullest owing to the impressive performance of Zach Galifianakis. Meanwhile, the 40 year old actor received widespread appreciation for his role in the 2009 movie ‘Hangover’ which enabled him to receive mainstream attention. The comedy artist is also known to have starred in a number of movies apart from his remarkable television appearances.
