NEW YORK - Twitter phenomenon “S**t My Dad Says” is set to be turned into a sitcom with William Shatner playing dad.

The pilot will be based on the Twitter account, which has attracted over 1 million followers since it hit the Internet in August, making its creator, Justin Halpern, an Internet star, reports the New York Post.

The pilot, to be aired on CBS, will be executive-produced by David Kohan and Max Mutchnick, the creators of “Will and Grace”.

Halpern, 29, launched Sh**t My Dad Says, a Twitter feed with colourful - often profane - comments made by his 73-year-old dad during their daily conversations. (ANI)
