Actor KIRK CAMERON is urging his former GROWING PAINS co-star ANDREW KOENIG to come forward and get in touch after he was reported missing to police.

The American actor was last seen in Vancouver, Canada on 14 February (10). He missed a flight out of the city to return to his home in Los Angeles on 16 February (10) and his friend, burlesque artist Jenny Magenta, reported him as a missing person last week (ends19Feb10) after failing to contact the star.

Authorities are now on the hunt for the 42 year old, the son of former Star Trek actor Walter Koenig, who believes he may be “severely depressed”.

Cameron grew close to the actor during their stint on the hit TV show in the 1980s, when he starred as Mike, one of Koenig’s character Boner’s good neighbours.

Now Cameron has issued a public plea calling for Koenig to reach out to his old pal.

In a statement, he says, “I am praying for his family during this time of distress and for his safe return. Andrew, if you’re reading this, please call me. Mike and Boner could always work things out when they put their minds to it. I’m praying for you, pal. Hope to hear from you soon.”
