LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- “The Late Show With David Letterman” is always a delight to watch, a factor which was increased manifold on Thursday night with the appearance of Regis Philbin, in company of his wife, Joy Philbin. Throughout the show, the audience was treated to a great exchange of witty repartee between the host and the guests, who are well known for their humor and sharp wit. Both Regis Philbin and Joy Philbin entertained the audience to the hilt with the display of their comedic talents and often acerbic wit. The others who came as guests in the show were Benicio Del Toro and Elizabeth Banks.

Regis Philbin, who is known as the most hardworking man in the small screen industry, was also named by the Guinness World Records to be the man who spends the maximum amount of time on this side of the camera. His wife, Joy Philbin, also appears as the occasional host of the popular show “Live.’ She was indeed adding to the oomph factor of the show, looking fabulous in her black and white dress, managing to look far younger than her 69 years.

Regis Philbin and Joy Philbin performed the song “This Guy’s In Love With You.” However, the major point of attraction in the show was the exchange of words that took place between Regis Philbin and David Letterman. While Regis Philbin commented on the Super Bowl advertisement featuring Oprah Winfrey and Jay Leno, mentioning how it was conceived and shot, he repeatedly referred to Jay Leno as David, taking a shot at the host. However, it was noteworthy that David Letterman, who is known to not being a fan of Regis Philbin, took his jokes in good humor.
