LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- The Canadian Tenors, the band consisting of four members, Fraser Walters, Victor Micallef, Remigio Perreira and Clifton Murray, appeared on the “Oprah Winfrey Show” on Feb. 10, Wednesday. Although it was aired only yesterday, the recording of the show had taken place last week, as part of the 80 city tour that the band is currently completing in North America. As part of this tour, the band has also been scheduled to make an appearance in the Dr. Phil show on Feb. 12, where they would be taking part in the Valentine’s Day special of the show.

Other than this, they are also going to make an appearance in the NBA All-Star game in Dallas, where they are going to sing the national anthem. On the “Oprah Winfrey Show”, the Canadian Tenors performed their rendition of Hallelujah, the classic song originally sung by Leonard Cohen. Needless to say, the performance was well enjoyed by the audience, but not more than the Canadian Tenors themselves, who were treated to a pleasant surprise toward the end of their performance.

While their performance neared an end, they were joined by the singing diva Celine Dion, who came from the backstage to join the Canadian Tenors in their performance. Celine Dion had been a guest in the earlier segment in the show. As she came up to sing the rest of the song with the Canadian Tenors, the surprise and pleasure was obvious on the faces of the four singers. It was evident that this performance would remain a special one for the Canadian Tenors, who admitted to be huge fans of Celine Dion, but had never before got the chance of meeting her in person.
