Protestors alleged the film contained derogatory remarks against their community.

“The film has some derogatory remarks against the Rajput community…yesterday we have submitted a memorandum in this regard to the collector in which we convey him that this film hurts our sentiments. We don’t want to create disturbance in Jaipur but district authorities are testing our patience,” said Ajeet Singh - President, Rajput Karni Sena.

Starring Bollywood actor Salman Khan, ‘Veer’ is a love story of a warrior belonging to the Pindari clan when the British ruled India in the 19th century. (ANI)
