Harris Boys Too Unruly For Normal Nannies

Actor JARED HARRIS and his two brothers were so unruly as kids, their mum had to hire an ex-Israeli army soldier as the boys’ nanny.

The son of movie great Richard Harris, Jared recalls his mother lining up a string of child minders to help her look after her kids - and they chased each one away.

The Mad Men star says, “We were terrible kids… My father wasn’t around so my mother had to do all the work herself. She used to try to get these nannies and au pairs to come and help her, and they never lasted very long.

“She hired an ex-Israeli army sergeant major.”
