BORDEAUX, FRANCE (GaeaTimes.com)- The latest rumor that seems to be circulating like wildfire via the internet involves the noted actor Johnny Depp, and is probably the most confusing and most believed rumor till date. It is being said that the “Pirates Of The Caribbean” star had died in a fatal car crash. Initially, the reports were all being brushed off as yet another rumor that seems to be dutifully churned out of the rumor mills almost every other day. However, as the news kept spreading, so did the speculations, with the onset of doubts that the news might, in the end, be true, mainly due to the fact that the report kept getting increasing media coverage, and that at least some parts of it is true.
Surprisingly, the rumor, if it is that, had stemmed from a confirmed fact. For once at least, it is not merely the production of some fertile imagination. The news struck the headlines today that the actor had been involved in a horrific car accident, but it was not very certain whether Johnny Depp had died from the car crash. The report claims that the car of the actor had been spotted in Bordeaux in France, in a terribly dilapidated condition. This part of the story seems to be true, if the pictures are to be believed. Moreover, the story does not come in different avatars.
Johnny Depp’s car had been spotted by a tourist while driving outside the city, parked by the side of a road. The car looked absolutely beyond repair, with the guard rail entrenched deep within the body. Dismayed at the sight, the tourist immediately attended to the car, and his wife called the emergency numbers. When the car was opened, the tourist found an array of liquor bottles inside. This discovery has led to the supposition that Johnny Depp had most probably been drunk while driving, leading to the horrific crash.
Concrete facts end, and the rumor takes on from here. It has been variously reported that Johnny Depp had died in the car crash. In fact, it is being supposed that the tourist had found the lifeless body of the actor inside the car, which was then taken out by the police after they arrived on the scene. However, there are no concrete reports about this. It is not certain as to how the rumors had started, or by whom. On the other hand, the supposition does not seem to be very groundless, as the car crash had indeed been disastrous, and Johnny Depp is quite lucky to be alive, if he is.
It is possible that the rumor had been started by some onlooker, or that it had stemmed from mere supposition, and to be honest, the condition of the car justifies the idea. Moreover, no comments have been coming from the actor himself. However, some reports claim that Johnny Depp is not dead from the car crash, and that in fact, he has been reported to have escaped unharmed. As for now, as there are no reliable accounts of the Johnny Depp dying in a car crash, it can be safely assumed that it is merely a hoax, despite having sprung from a true story.
