Scorsese A Huge Fan Of Lewis’ Bleeding Love

Legendary director MARTIN SCORSESE proved himself an unlikely fan of pop at the Golden Globes on Sunday (17Jan10) - after congratulating LEONA LEWIS on her hit track BLEEDING LOVE.

The British singing sensation was invited to the glitzy awards bash after her song I See You, from blockbuster hit Avatar, was nominated in the Best Song category.

But despite missing out on an award, Lewis was thrilled to discover the Taxi Driver auteur is an avid devotee.

A source tells Britain’s The Sun newspaper, “Leona couldn’t believe it when Martin sought her out at the awards. He was charm personified and told her he listens to Bleeding Love every single day when he goes out jogging.

“He said he thinks it’s an utterly terrific track and really gets his blood pumping.”
