Funeral Arrangements For Soul Star Pendergrass

Funeral arrangements and a public viewing for soul star TEDDY PENDERGRASS have been set after the hitmaker tragically died of colon cancer this week (13Jan10), aged 59.
The If You Don’t Know Me By Now singer passed away at a hospital in his native Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on Wednesday, eight months after he underwent surgery to treat the disease.
A public viewing is scheduled for next Friday (22Jan10) at Enon Tabernacle Baptist Church in Philadelphia.
The funeral will be held there the following day (23Jan10), with burial services at West Laurel Hill Cemetery in neighbouring Bala Cynwyd.
Pendergrass is survived by his wife, a son, two daughters and nine grandchildren.
