Ellen DeGeneres ‘very sad’ with Cowell’s decision to quit ‘American Idol’

LONDON - Ellen DeGeneres says she is ‘very, very sad’ with Simon Cowell’s decision to quit American Idol.
Cowell had recently announced that he would be making an exit from the hit talent hunt show to concentrate on US version of The X Factor.
And DeGeneres, who replaced Paula Abdul as a judge on American Idol, is quite disappointed with Cowell opting out of the show.
“He announced he’s leaving on my first day! I’m trying not to take it personally. But seriously, I am going to be very, very sad to see him go, because I think he’s made the show what it is. He’s a huge part of that show but he wanted a change,” the Daily Star quoted her as saying. (ANI)
