Pop sensation KE$HA has scored the highest week of digital downloads for a female artist in the history of the U.S. pop charts.

Over 610,000 copies of her number one hit TiK ToK were downloaded by fans over Christmas (09). Only Flo Rida has scored more downloads in a week with his hit Right Round.

Ironically, Ke$ha features on Flo Rida’s hit as well - she provided non-credited vocals on the track, according to Billboard.com.

The digital success means Ke$ha’s hit will be the last number one of 2009 when the Billboard Hot 100 is announced on New Year’s Eve (31Dec09). She took over at the top on Thursday (24Dec09) and TiK ToK became America’s Christmas number one.
