‘Basterds,’ ‘Precious,’ ‘Up in the Air’ lead SAG Awards honors with 3 nominations each

Clooney, Streep, Bullock among SAG Awards noms
LOS ANGELES — “Up in the Air,” ”Precious” and “Inglourious Basterds” each have three nominations for the Screen Actors Guild Awards, among them honors for George Clooney, Diane Kruger and Mo’Nique.
“Inglourious Basterds” and “Precious” are competing for the guild’s overall cast prize, along with “An Education,” ”The Hurt Locker” and “Nine.”
“Up in the Air” was shut out of that category but scored a lead-actor nomination for Clooney and two supporting-actress slots, for Vera Farmiga and Anna Kendrick.
Other nominees include best-actress contenders Sandra Bullock for “The Blind Side,” Meryl Streep for “Julie & Julia” and best-actor picks Jeff Bridges for “Crazy Heart” and Morgan Freeman for “Invictus.”
