Woods ‘mistress’ ‘there Was No Romance’

The woman at the centre of TIGER WOODS’ alleged cheating scandal has denied tabloid reports she’s romancing the embattled golfer.

Rachel Uchitel insists two so-called friends told the National Enquirer she had enjoyed a romance with the star - but the club manager confirms she had no involvement with Woods, who is recovering after suffering injuries in a car accident on Friday (27Nov09).

Uchitel has hired high-profile celebrity lawyer Gloria Allred to handle her affairs following the publication of the article last week (ends27Nov09).

She tells E! News, “Whatever was written in the Enquirer was not said by me… I am overwhelmed, so I hired Gloria Allred to handle the situation. I don’t want to get this much attention, and I wish everybody would leave me alone.”

Following Friday morning’s (27Nov09) crash, it was alleged that Woods and his wife, Elin, had argued about the article.
