Mr Brightside by The Killers voted Decade’s Greatest Song

LONDON - American rock band The Killers’ chartbusting track ‘Mr Brightside’ has been voted the greatest song of the decade.
It pushed the highest UK entry, Arctic Monkeys’ ‘I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor’ song down to the second position.
‘Sex On Fire’ sung by Kings Of Leon was voted the third best.
British alternative rock band Muse were the most popular band of the decade, with eight entries in the full list, including Knights of Cydonia at number four, in the poll complied by Xfm.
“The Killers have undoubtedly been one of the most important bands of the past 10 years, pushing guitar music into the charts worldwide and, in Mr Brightside, making one of the greatest records of all time,” the Telegraph quoted Mike Walsh, head of music for the Xfm network, as saying.
