LONDON - Scottish singer Susan Boyle got so emotional after singing in New York for the country’s biggest breakfast show that she broke down in tears.
Boyle, 48, who had been on the verge of a breakdown during the Britain’s Got Talent final in June, went to a restaurant with one of her management team, and let her tears flow.
“It was clear she is still very fragile and struggling to cope with the fame,” the Daily Express quoted an onlooker as saying.
“She’s treated like an international superstar in the States. She managed to pull herself together very quickly, though, and shake herself out of her tearful mood,” the onlooker added.
Boyle’s performance on November 23 coincided with the release of her debut album, ‘I Dreamed A Dream’, which is on target to sell a million copies this week and is expected to top the charts. (ANI)

The incident with Susan getting emotional was after she was presented with a patchwork quilt which had been stitched together by hundreds of people, from 28 countries including the UK, USA, Australia, Canada, Mexico, Poland and Japan and Antarctica. As she unfolded it the centre patch read “We Love Susan”. I think she was just overwhelmed. Why on earth didn’t one of the so called fans embrace her & gave her a cuddle, instead of just sitting there staring at her? I wish I could have been there……… Incidentally the album in BREATHTAKING, I CRIED all the way through!! Well done Susan!! Mike Danata |
