Relaxed and confident throughout an hour-long interview devoid of political questions, Mrs. Palin made no attempt to hide her displeasure at her treatment by senior McCain aides. She accused McCain campaign for “glamorizing” Bristol’s pregnancy and putting out a statement which neither Palin nor her husband Todd had made, saying they were happy to be grandparents.
Palin said that she prayed for Levi Johnston, the estranged father of her baby grandson. She also claimed that aiming for the presidency in 2012 was “not even on my radar”
“We talked about inside the campaign, about what it felt like when she was first asked to be Vice-President, the candidate,” Winfrey said in a video posted after the interview. Other important topics include, Bristol’s pregnancy, Trig, her baby, Levi Johnston.
Palin sat down with Winfrey to promote her book “Going Rogue,” which comes out the day after the interview airs. Palin was paid an advance of at least $1.25 million for the book and the book is rumored to exceed 400 pages.
In response to the query why she came to write her memoir, “Going Rogue,” Mrs. Palin explained that she have a journalism degree and have journalled all of her life. Oprah jumped at this as if she had caught Palin making some kind of misstatement. But Palin, after hanging on for a while, informed that she had nurtured the practice of writing diary since school days.
After some discussion, Oprah rolled some footage of Palin at home, with her family in Wasilla. Filmed on Halloween, we saw Palin help out her young daughter Piper assemble her BMX biker Halloween costume and then watch over Piper as she trick-or-treated.
While concluding the show, Oprah mentioned that Palin was planning to start a talk show. Well, it sounds really interesting. We hope to see the polarizing phenom from Wasilla, starting a new career very soon.
Lets have a look at the video of Sarah Palin on “Oprah Winfrey” talkshow. I hope you enjoy it.
