Cruise’s Publicist Hits Back At ‘homophobic Bore’ Comments

TOM CRUISE’s publicist has responded promptly to allegations the movie star is a “homophobic bore” - made by a former castmate.
Actor Bronson Pinchot attempted to expose the real Cruise in a recent interview, claiming his Risky Business co-star made a series of offensive anti-gay comments on the set of the 1983 film that upset co-stars.
Pinchot reveals, “He (Cruise) was the biggest bore on the face of the Earth.
“He made constant, constant unrelated homophobic comments… There was no basis for it. It was like, ‘It’s a nice day, I’m glad there are no gay people standing here.’ Very, very strange.
“If someone’s 20 years old and every third line out of their mouth is anti-something specific, then draw your own conclusion.”
But the Top Gun star’s publicist, Cheryl Maisel, insists Pinchot simply failed to get a joke.
She tells TVGuide.com, “Obviously this is so far removed from who Tom Cruise is as a person, this must have been said in jest.”
And Pinchot doesn’t stop at criticising Cruise - he also describes Denzel Washington as “one of the most unpleasant human beings I’ve ever met in my life.”
