Chris Pine to play Jack Ryan in new film

WASHINGTON - Chris Pine is set to be cast as popular movie character Jack Ryan in a new film.
The ‘Star Trek’ star was said to have signed a deal to portray the fictional character created by Tom Clancy who appears in many of his novels.
The 29-year-old will become the fourth actor to play the much beloved role, reports Contactmusic.
He now joins the path previously treaded by Ben Affleck, Harrison Ford and Alec Baldwin in playing Ryan. (ANI)
