Rider in Hogan son’s 2007 crash out of hospital
TAMPA, Fla. — The Iraq War veteran critically injured in a street race involving Hulk Hogan’s son has been released from a Tampa hospital two years after the car wreck.
John Graziano, 24, left the James A. Haley Veterans Hospital with his mother Wednesday morning.
Graziano suffered a severe brain injury after Hogan’s son, Nick Bollea (bo-lay-uh), crashed into a palm tree in Clearwater in 2007. Graziano was a passenger in the car and will need a lifetime of medical care.
Bollea served five months in jail for causing the crash.
Graziano’s attorneys filed a lawsuit against Hogan, whose real name is Terry Bollea, last year. The lawsuit said he and his ex-wife, Linda, are liable as Nick Bollea’s parents.
