Garner Dvd Fails To Raise A Fortune At Daughter’s School Auction

JENNIFER GARNER discovered she’s not the favourite actress of parents at her daughter’s school the hard way - a DVD she signed for a fundraiser wasn’t a hit.
The actress’ eldest child Violet attends a co-operative school in Los Angeles and teachers are always looking for ways to make money for field trips and equipment.
Garner is always happy to help when she can and recently offered up a copy of a DVD, signed by her, as an auction prize.
She explains, “They could not care less… I donated a signed DVD of one of my movies. It sold for less than the face value of the DVD.”
But Garner likes the fact that her fame means nothing to other mums and dads: “I kind of think that’s awesome.”
Insisting that she and husband Ben Affleck “fit right in” at the school, Garner admits she’s not as good at “the hippie mom thing” as some of the other mothers, but adds, “I do scrub the potty at Violet’s co-operative pre-school.”
