Man arrested after refusing to lower his music

DERIDDER, La. — A 27-year-old man was arrested and booked with disturbing the peace and resisting an officer after he refused to turn down his music. The Beauregard Parish Sheriff’s Office responded to the man’s home around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday, and asked him to turn down the music on his stereo.

Not only did the manrefuse to turn down the volume, deputies said he turned it up and became belligerent.

The man was booked into jail and released in lieu of $1,250 bond.
