LOS ANGELES - Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie has been named the world’s most powerful celebrity by Forbes magazine.
The actress has beaten talk show host Oprah Winfrey to the top spot on the magazine’s 2009 Celebrity 100 list, reported contactmusic.com.
Winfrey slipped to two after two consecutive years at the top of the power countdown. Publication editors make their picks based on income and global fame.
Newcomers to the Forbes power list include Taylor Swift at 69, Toby Keith at 59 and Alec Baldwin at 91.
