MELBOURNE - Rumours are abuzz that former cricketer Shane Warne is using his network of celebrity friends to become the ‘King of Chat’.

Warne has secured interviews with international stars Sting, Pink, Coldplay’s Chris Martin and Harry Potter’s Daniel Radcliffe for his new Channel Nine variety show, currently titled ‘Warne’s World’, reports News.com.au.

Former Nine boss and Warne’s good friend James Packer has also agreed to appear in the show, according to a source.

Rolling Stone frontman Mick Jagger and retired talk show king Sir Michael Parkinson are also expected to join Warne in conversation when the five-episode series launches on November 25, along with cricket commentator Richie Benaud and comedians Glenn Robbins and Magda Szubanski.

‘Warne’s World’ will feature interviews, comedy sketches and discussion on the upcoming Ashes series between Australia and England. (ANI)
