LONDON - Italian fashion label MaxMara has honoured Katie Holmes as their “Face of the Future”.
The annual award is given to recognise style, talent and the recipient’s contribution to the community and Holmes is said to be thrilled with the honour because she adores the label, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
“Their clothes are so comfortable and beautifully made, I love wearing them,” she said.
Ian Griffiths, the fashion brand’s head of design, revealed they had chosen Holmes because she was the epitome of a MaxMara customer.
“Katie’s style is chic and modern, it equates with the MaxMara style because it gives you confidence so you look good in anything. No matter what you’re doing you don’t have to worry about how you look,” she said.
The award will be presented to Katie at a gala in Beverly Hills in June where she will join the ranks of previous recipients like Zoe Saldana, Emily Blunt and Elizabeth Banks.
