Anne Hathaway to star in ‘Rock Of Ages’?

LONDON - Actress Anne Hathaway is likely to star alongside Tom Cruise in big screen adaptation of 1980’s hit stage musical “Rock Of Ages”.
While Cruise will play rock star Stacee Jax, Hathaway will be playing a journalist who seeks to ruin Stacee’s career with a damning expose - but instead ends up falling for his charms.
Hathaway will also be required to sing in the film as the role requires her to duet with Tom’s character on a rendition of British-American rock band Foreigner’s song “I Want To Know What Love Is”, reports contactmusic.com.
Actor Alec Baldwin has been confirmed that he will be playing the role of Dennis, the owner of rock club The Bourbon, while Russell Brand is said to be in the run for the role of Lonny, the manager of The Bourbon.
