David Schwimmer reveals how mum badly wanted him to find his Ms Right

LONDON - David Schwimmer has revealed that his mother was after his life to find himself a good woman during his ‘workaholic’ days.
Schwimmer, best known for his role as Ross Geller in sitcom ‘Friends’, secretly married Brit photographer Zoe Buckman in 2010.
“My mother always told me: ‘Find a good woman.” It was great advice… but hard to follow’,” the Sun quoted him as saying.
But, working 14 or 15 hours a day on the show meant there was no time for him to find true love-much to his mother’s dismay.
“I had some long-term relationships but I never came close to marriage. I also had a strong work ethic from both my parents. It is the way I was raised, a lot of pressure to achieve,” he said.
When he celebrated his 40th birthday, his mom asked him whether he was happy.
“I was, but knew I could be happier. I’d have liked to have been married and looking forward to a family. I think my mom must have despaired at times but she was never critical.
“Through all these tough years, Mom was obviously hoping I’d find the ‘right girl’ - and said so. I knew she was correct and that it would be good for me,” said Schwimmer.
“My personal life was put on full-time hold. Poor mom must have thought she would never see her son married,” he added. (ANI)
