MELBOURNE - Miranda Kerr’s grandparents, Peter and Ann, lost their house when it was struck by lightening.

The incident took place while Kerr’s grandfather was taking an afternoon nap in Gunnedah, North South Wales.

The couple managed their escape from their burning home and called the fire crew around two in the afternoon.

But everything in the house had turned to charred remains and Kerr’s grandmother lost most of her antique collection, reports The Daily Telegraph.

Mr. and Mrs. Kerr spent their night at a relative’s house. The couple looked shattered, said a local quoting.

“The storm came through really quickly. There was plenty of lightning. It’s very unlucky for them,” he said.

The David Jones model and her husband, Orlando Bloom did not make any statement till last night because they were unaware of the unfortunate incident. (ANI)
