Bon Jovi’s The Circle show ‘was highest earning tour of 2010′

LONDON - Hard rock band Bon Jovi’s The Circle show has been revealed to be the highest-earning tour of 2010, after it made 201.1 million dollars worldwide playing at 80 shows.

According to music trade publication Pollstar, Australian rock band AC/DC landed at number two for the second year in a row, with tickets sales from their recent tour totalling 177 million dollars after performing at 40 shows.

U2, which was the top worldwide act in 2009, came in at third place, with ticket sales totalling 160.9 million dollars from 32 shows, the BBC reported.

Lady Gaga took fourth place with 133.6 million dollars after playing in 138 shows, followed by Metallica in fifth place.
