MELBOURNE - A Moscow escort agency has published photo of Brit band Girls Aloud on their ad poster without their permission, but the girls, rather than thinking of suing the agency, are making fun of the incident.

The advert claims that Sarah Harding, Cheryl Cole, Nicola Roberts, Nadine Coyle and Kimberley Walsh are among its ‘friendly and sophisticated girls waiting for your call’.

It’s a five or six years old image before Sarah cut her blonde locks short, before Cheryl married Ashley Cole and found solo fame and before Nadine underwent a dramatic weight loss.

But even though it’s an old picture, the Babylon Moscow Escort Agency didn’t ask permission to use it and the band’s management could sue.

“It’s an embarrassingly old picture of the girls so the company figure they might get away with using it. But they failed to warn the band’s record label they were using it and theoretically could get sued,” the Daily Telegraph quoted a source as telling the Daily Mirror.

“Thankfully, Cheryl and co has seen the funny side. They’ve been joking that that Chezza’s been jetting off to Moscow in Simon Cowell’s private jet. But in all seriousness, this is exactly the kind of thing that needs to be monitored. People can’t be going around using the girls’ faces on their products willy-nilly,” the source added. (ANI)
