Anne Hathaway likens Oscar hosting gig to appearing on ‘SNL’ in the buff

NEW YORK - Hollywood beauty Anne Hathaway has likened her Oscar hosting gig to appearing on ‘Saturday Night Live’ without any clothes on.

The 28-year-old actress is so nervous about joining James Franco on stage to co-host the 83rd Academy Awards that she likened it to hosting “Saturday Night Live” in the buff.

“Hosting ‘SNL’ is just as scary as getting naked on screen then hosting the Oscars is like doing ‘SNL’ naked. I just think the logic follows that line,” the New York Daily News quoted her as telling eonline.com.

She also revealed that she found it “intimidating” that she was one of the few women to host the show.

“I could not even begin to fathom their thought process,” Hathaway told people.com of the show’s producers. “You’d have to ask them.” (ANI)
