Leighton Meester lands $3m Vera Wang fragrance deal

NEW YORK - Actress Leighton Meester has apparently landed a 3 million dollar deal to be the face of Vera Wang’s new fragrance.

The “Gossip Girl” star just signed a two-year contract with Wang for the scent, which will debut next summer.

“Leighton is shooting the campaign this weekend in New York,” the New York Post quoted a source as saying.

Although details of the fragrance haven’t been revealed, one industry insider said, “This is a huge deal for a young star and one that will turn some of Leighton’s ‘Gossip Girl’ castmates green with envy.” (ANI)
